Capones Island, San Antonio, Zambales

Capones Island is located in San Antonio, Zambales. It is accessible via 30 minutes boat ride from Pundaquit (Pundakit) beach .  If you are planning to visitAnawangin Cove, you should not ignore this island, opt instead for an Island hopping adventure! Don’t ignore Camara Island too…
What to expect from Capones Island? Crystal clear water and a sand whiter than Anawangin’s. But it is a rocky island so make sure to use a lot of sun block! You will definitely find difficulty looking for a shade!

From this view you can see that Capones Island is a big lump of rock!
with my mom and friends…
from the opposite side you can see the mountainous side of San Antonio
with my friend Ivee overlooking the mountains of San Antonio
In Capones Island you will find the famous Lighthouse, but since we brought kids with us and we need to hike, we decided not to go, which gives me a reason to come back again!! yey!!

As of this writing, you cannot find any beach huts in Capones Island, no public toilet too unless you want to hike to the Lighthouse. So make sure to bring everything that you will need if you want to spend a day here and provide your own shade and most of all ENJOY!!!
